Our 2,500 square mile watershed is an enormously diverse landscape, spanning 9,000 feet in elevation at the Sierra crest dropping to the Sacramento Valley floor 80 miles west. Biodiversity here is more complex and more numerous than almost any other place on the planet.

BYLT honors three lifetime conservationists at Oak Tree Bash

BYLT will recognize Ted Beedy as a lifetime conservationist with the “William Nickerl Award for Conservation Leadership” during the annual Oak Tree Bash on March 14. BYLT will also recognize Ron Mathis and Warren Wittich with the the “John Skinner Sierra Outdoors Recreation Award”.
