Adopt-A-Highway

BYLT is participating in CalTrans’ Adopt-A-Highway program! Tasks for the day include beautifying the highway corridor along Highway 49 by removing litter.

SPACE IS LIMITED! Volunteers will meet at the BYLT office, located at 12183 Auburn Road to carpool to the Adopt-A-Highway site along HWY 49 near Combie Road. Please arrive 15 minutes early to sign liability waivers and gear up for the day. Volunteers will have all safety equipment including safety goggles, vests, hard hats, gloves, trash grabbers, and trash bags available. All safety equipment must be worn for the duration of the workday. Please come prepared with trousers or long pants, work shoes/boots, plenty of water and everything you need to have a fun, safe work day.
