Bear Yuba Land Trust will be hosting a series of Firewood Days at Garden Bar Preserve on Saturday, November 17th, Saturday, December 1st and Thursday, December 13th. This is your opportunity to see a beautiful working cattle ranch on the Bear River and load up on oak firewood for the winter season!
Cost: $75/cord- PLEASE BRING CASH DAY-OF.
Meeting Time: 8 am. You will have from 9am-2pm to CUT AND LOAD as much pre-marked oak as you can. We will leave the site at 2 pm and be back by 3-4 pm.
Bring: Truck and trailer, chainsaws w/ safety gear, long pants, boots, gloves, a lunch and water.
Workday dates are subject to change based on weather and safety of conditions.
