IN THE FIELD: Yoga at Adam Ryan Preserve

Stretch, lay and relax with Aleena Church that will guide a yoga class at BYLT’s Adam Ryan Preserve. This one hour yoga class is for all yogis–if you have never done yoga or are a seasoned expert please come join us in vinyasa yoga. Our Adam Ryan Preserve sits on 37 acres with lush meadows that will enhance the yoga experience. Please bring water, a yoga mat if you have one, any support blocks needed and wear comfortable clothes. Some yoga mats will be provided but if you have extras please bring those too! We hope to see you there!

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of the yoga class, 8:00am, at the Adam Ryan main parking lot. We will walk up to the yoga spot together.

Aleena Church has been practicing Vinyasa style Yoga for 5 years. She found her love for yoga in San Francisco then went on to guide others in finding their inner Yogi. From San Francisco to Costa Rica to Sri Lanka, Aleena has taught all level yoga classes that are structured to flow seamlessly from one pose to another, focusing on connecting your body to the earth in a holistic approach. She believes that yoga is a form of healing.

ABOUT ADAM RYAN PRESERVE: 37 Acres, Established 1999. Public access allowed. A beautiful meadow and forest landscape, Adam Ryan Wildlife Preserve is located along Dog Bar Road and Alta Sierra Drive near Mathis Pond, another public-access preserve owned by BYLT. IN THE FIELD is our monthly event series led by naturalists, scientists, local historians, land stewardship partners, and our own BYLT staff and board. Attendees can expect to learn more about the protected lands in our community.

From guided and themed hikes on our 45+ miles of local trails to behind-the-scenes tours of our nature preserves and open spaces, you won’t want to miss IN THE FIELD!

Group size is small and space limited, so early registration is encouraged.
