**CANCELLED** Trail Stewardship Team: Black Swan Trail

This workday has been **CANCELLED**, it will be rescheduled for a later day.

Join BYLT out on the land for a trail workday at the Black Swan Trail on Thursday, June 6th from 9:00 am- 1:00 pm; please arrive at the Mooney Flat Road trailhead at least 15 minutes early to fill out liability forms.

Tasks for the day include removing invasive plants, improving the trail tread and drainage and cutting back brush from the trail corridor. If you are unfamiliar with the trail, please visit BYLT’s Trail Portal for more information. Volunteers will earn a Trail Stewardship Team button for this event.

Safety: Wear long sleeve shirts, trousers, work shoes/boots, and gloves. Please come prepared with plenty of water, a lunch, and everything you need to have a fun, safe work day. BYLT will provide the tools and expertise needed to complete the work. If you have any questions or comments, please email shaun@bylt.org

Directions: The trailhead is located off of Mooney Flat Road in Smartsville, CA. From the intersection of Hwy 49 and Hwy 20 near Grass Valley, drive 13 miles toward Smartsville, turn right (North) on Mooney Flat Road. If you see the Yuba County sign on Highway 20, you have gone too far. Once you are on Mooney Flat Road, drive approximately ¼ mile. Turn left into small, unmarked parking lot area. Park and walk to trailhead on the left side of the dirt road (before the gate).

Please note: In the event of rain, this workday will be cancelled and rescheduled for a later date.
