Junior Conservationists: Stories in Nature

Join Bear Yuba Land Trust and California Naturalist Steve Roddy and Linda Conklin for the Junior Conservationists: Stories in Nature Series

These outings are designed for children ages 5 – 12, accompanied by a parent or caregiver. Every second Saturday of the month, families explore local trails and BYLT Preserves while discovering the plants, animals, and history of each special region. These activities are a great way to meet other families in your community and get outdoors! A conservationist is someone who advocates or acts for the protection and preservation of the environment and wildlife. By exploring nature, the next generation is inspired to become Junior Conservationists. Come adventuring with us!
