The property is located on the eastern edge of Grass Valley and is bisected by South Wolf Creek. Empire Mine State Historical park borders the southern boundary of the property.
This land has pockets of very large madrones and cottonwoods and is prime habitat for a variety of wildlife species. Birds, bears and small mammals frequent the meadows. Stands of native grasses and forbs cover the open meadows.
